This adaptation was designed as a multifunctional space, addressing the client’s need for a vehicle shelter that could also serve as a venue for social events. To achieve this, a self-supporting structure was developed, supported by four columns, featuring a wood-paneled ceiling, which adds warmth and character to the space.
The exposed structure is integrated as a visual and architectural feature, enhancing the materiality and overall aesthetic. The walls of the covered area were built with exposed brick, using a textured bond pattern that highlights its richness and depth, reinforcing the spatial warmth and creating a versatile and inviting atmosphere for multiple uses.
